Linocut, why does it matter ?
Inherited from the early 1900's, the linocut carving technique allows for a distinct sharp and bold visual language.
Designs are drawn separately, then transferred onto linoleum sheets to be carved. Each stroke, line and dot is individually carved as a negative version of the design, carrying hours of patient craft. Ink is then applied onto the block, followed by paper. Pressed and burnished by hand, every print is a unique little artwork, only awaiting to inhabit your space.
Mystical, whimsical and fantastic, our pieces are made with the heart, infused with a true meaning and a touch of magic !

Hi ! That's me. I'm Nausicaa, a 25 year old French artist, passionate with fantasy, mythology, handmade artistry and little misunderstood animals.
My artistic story started young, and I followed my inclinations, graduating with a Graphic Design Bachelor and later on with a Immersive Storytelling Masters. Specializing in Virtual Reality for climate education, do NOT get me started on that topic unless you're ready for a 2-hour long lecture on whales and the impact of plastic on their life.
I even started a video games studio, can you believe that ?
But that was in another life.
After working for so many years behind computers, I discovered linocut. I felt head over heels for that craft. Creating tangible and profoundly handmade art felt like an evidence, and still does.
Inspired by mythology, folklore and dark fantasy, I infuse my lived experiences and emotional journey in pieces depicting mystical animals, curious entities and forgotten tales. My art is meant to make spiritual fairies, mythology passionate and modern-time witches feel at home.
